Luann de Lesseps is doing her best to look on the bright side, even while she deals with alcohol dependency in rehab.
Following a run-in with the law, "life-saving" rehab, and a recent relapse that came after six months of sobriety, de Lesseps entered rehab this past week, skipping the Season 10 reunion special for "The Real Housewives of New York City" in the process.
Despite her disappointment, Us Weekly reports she posted a hopeful message over an image of a sunset at the end of a pier. "Never regret a day in your life: good days give happiness, bad days give experience, worst days give lessons, and best days give memories," she wrote.
The quote appeared to be a version of the words of Dr. Sukhraj S. Dhillon, author of "Art of Stress-Free Living."
Bravo has given its blessing to its "RHONY" cast member's pursuit of health and happiness, saying in a statement, "Bravo supports Luann’s decision to focus on her health. She is part of the Bravo family and we continue to stand by her as she copes with this challenging situation. At this time, we hope everyone will respect her privacy."
