The mommy of two also explained the video she recently posted on social media of her son Ace in the pool doing a somersault in a cast. She caught flak for that, but said, "I posted Ace in the pool with a cast on because there is really no stopping a child, that's him, he only has to have the cast on for three weeks, he was in the pool that day. I don't even know if the cast molded on to him yet. Listen, it makes him happy and it's kids being kids. He is in my husband's hands. I know he's okay."
Her message to the mommy shamers? "If people were in that situation, if they had a husband like mine, they would feel comfortable."
Jess is already a fashion mogul via her Jessica Simpson Collection, and she's launching her beauty line with a range of makeup brushes. "Makeup brushes to me are like a good pair of shoes," she said. "We started the collection with shoes, so to come into beauty, starting with brushes, is awesome."
The beauty space seems a perfect fit for the glamorous CEO. “I like all kinds of beauty," she said. "I like natural beauty and I love overdone beauty... It's definitely an art."
