Surprise! Nico Tortorella of 'Younger' Married His Partner 'for Real'
"Younger" actor Nico Tortorella announced on Instagram Saturday that he married his partner of 12 years, Bethany Meyers, at the office of the city clerk of New York City in Lower Manhattan on March 9.
In an exclusive diary for Them, the couple — who identify as queer and polyamorous — recalled their special day, which was witnessed by friend J.K. Carrington and photographed by Victoria Matthews.

Meyers wrote, "Most think we planned this and one day decided we would be multiple-love kind of people. We didn't. It's just the way our relationship developed over 12 years. We became polyamorous without ever really trying, and we let each other go so often; I guess we finally realized it's the reason we are impenetrable. It's hard to break something that bends."
Nico revealed of the ceremony, "as we stood before each other, christ, and our own respected gods of our universes, we recited our vows face to face, our tears the holiest of water present. after the emotionally-charged exchange of love, we lit two candles, made a donation, and i uttered just five words to the security guard, whowas not the happiest with our impromptu ceremony: may god be with you. in that moment, i knew deep in my heart that god, they, were certainly with us."
The ceremony had no other guests, no flowers, no rings, with both Nico and Bethany in flowing white garments — and crowns, about which Nico said "duh."
