Jane Fonda Opens Up About Her Health
"Extra's" Jerry Penacoli caught up with Jane Fonda at the Sundance Film Festival, where she discussed her health, the Women's March and her new documentary “Jane Fonda in Five Acts.”
Fonda opened up about having a cancerous growth removed from her lower lip, saying, “Yeah, you live long enough, and if you were a sun worshiper, you get cancer, so I'm dealing with it.”
Jane joined women in Park City for the Respect Rally over the weekend. She explained, “I had something specific I wanted to talk about, which is the importance of moving from protesting to organizing.”
Fonda, who was joined by director Susan Lacy, also spoke about “Five Acts,” which has been dubbed an “intimate portrait of a movie star and activist.” She said, “I think it's very powerful and I am very grateful to Susan for doing it the way she did. I think it's an important documentary.”
