Mary J. Blige Opens Up About Divorce from Kendu Isaacs

“Extra's” AJ Calloway caught up with Mary J. Blige at the Gotham Awards in NYC.
Blige and her “Mudbound” co-stars were there to accept the Special Jury Award for Ensemble Performance.
Mary has been making the transition from singing to acting. She told AJ, “This is something I am going after — I love it,” adding, “I gave it my all.”
Blige is also going through a contentious split from husband Kendu Isaacs. She filed for divorce in July 2016. She told Mary she is doing "pretty good,” insisting, “I can't complain. God is good to me. This is something I can't do anything about, but I can learn from it.”
