“The Hills” star Audrina Patridge has called it quits with husband Corey Bohan.
On Wednesday, Patridge filed for divorce after less than a year of marriage, TMZ reports. Just days earlier, Audrina had filed a temporary restraining order against Bohan, according to court records, fueling rumors that domestic violence may have played a part in the breakup. The site reports the court granted the restraining order.
Patridge's rep confirmed the split, telling People magazine, "Audrina's number one concern is for her daughter and she asks for privacy at this time."
In court papers obtained by "Extra," Audrina claimed in a declaration that Corey was harassing her to the point where she had to "physically separate from him a few weeks ago."
She also claimed that he "became physically violent" last month and she's "fearful" of his temper "because he cannot control his swearing and personal attacks on me."
As for the most recent incident of domestic violence, Audrina noted that it happened on Saturday, September 16, the day that she was scheduled to speak at O.C. Style Week. She said that Bohan "followed me up to the stage." After she walked away from him, she claimed, "he kept following me, asking where our daughter was, was she at my sister's house and saying he was going to go get her." The incident allegedly left her "shaking."
In the declaration, Patridge also noted an incident on August 16 when Bohan became "very aggressive" after she confronted him about cheating allegations. In response to his alleged yelling, Audrina tried to leave with "Kirra in my arms." According to the papers, she claims Bohan "locked the door and pushed me back with her in my arms.”
Another source told Us Weekly of the alleged domestic violence allegations, "Corey is denying everything. They are not living together right now. Audrina and Corey were at court yesterday.”
After being on and off for eight years, Audrina and Corey tied the knot in Hawaii in November. The wedding took place just four months after she welcomed their first child, Kirra.
