Fergie and Josh Duhamel are calling it quits after eight years of marriage.
In a statement to People magazine, the pair said, "With absolute love and respect we decided to separate as a couple earlier this year. To give our family the best opportunity to adjust, we wanted to keep this a private matter before sharing it with the public. We are and will always be united in our support of each other and our family.”
"Extra" has learned the separation reportedly happened in March. A source claimed that the couple didn't see eye-to-eye on the future — Josh reportedly wanted more kids, while Fergie was happy with their son Axl.
Three months ago, “Extra’s” Terri Seymour caught up with Josh at a blue-carpet event for “Transformers: The Last Knight,” where he dished about Fergie’s Father’s Day surprise. He said, "So, my wife sent me a cake today, in the middle of a junket… a giant cake.”
Josh and Fergie celebrated their eighth wedding anniversary in January. At the time, he wrote on social media, "8 Years!! Love you babe."
