After weeks of rumors, we finally have a new star for the upcoming season of "The Bachelor"!
Arie Luyendyk Jr., one of the final two men on Emily Maynard's season, is getting his chance to find love on the ABC show. Arie was a favorite for the job for Season 19 and Season 17, but lost out to Chris Soules and Sean Lowe.

He told Michael Strahan, "I was a little skeptical because we'd been in talks for a few years about doing it, so I just kind of went into it with an open heart, an open mind. Arie got the call that he would be “The Bachelor” very recently, adding, "This just fit really perfect. The timing of this just really fit.”
The professional race car driver revealed that he was ready to settle down at 35, saying, "I feel like I'm the last of my friends to take this step.”
