LL Cool J Dishes on His Daughter’s Wedding: 'I Gained a Son'

After an eventful summer that included walking his oldest daughter, Italia, down the aisle in a Father's Day weekend wedding, it's back to work on “NCIS: Los Angeles” for LL Cool J!

Last night, the star stepped out with his castmate Chris O'Donnell on the CBS TCA red carpet, where he chatted with “Extra's” Renee Bargh about the nuptials. LL shared, “I didn't lose a daughter, I gained a son. That was fun, you know what I'm saying? Beautiful ceremony.”

“I was very emotional, yeah,” he revealed, “but I didn't let [any tears] drop, though, you know? I let the wedding cry for me."

The 49-year-old is gearing up for an emotional season of his hit CBS show after his character, Sam Hanna's wife was murdered at the end of last season. At the beginning of Season 9, Sam is still off the team and working through his grief. He said, “They're trying to figure out how they're going to work Sam back into things because he's really reluctant, so we gotta see how that's gonna unfold.”
