Rachel Bilson Opens Up About a Possible 'O.C.' Reunion
It's been 10 years since “The O.C.” went off the air. With many former TV shows being revived, could the modern soap opera be next?
Former cast member Rachel Bilson recently spoke with E! News about bringing the show back. The actress shared that she wouldn't mind reprising her role as Summer Roberts.
“I'm always open to things. I don't know what it would look like with our characters being old now. We were riding skateboards on the pier; I don't know what they do now as 30-year-olds. But it would be nice to see everybody again.”
Since the series ended in 2007, the cast slowly grew apart, however, Bilson says she still keeps in contact with the show's executive producer, Josh Schwartz.
“I haven't seen any of them in a very long time. I always see Josh. Josh is like my brother; he's married to my best friend, actually. I hear things through people and I know people are doing well. Everyone's growing up.”
In the meantime, while awaiting the revival of “The O.C.,” fans can catch Rachel on CMT's “Nashville,” along with her "O.C." co-star Chris Carmack. Rachel will be playing Alyssa Greene, a marketing expert from Silicon Valley.
