Mariah Carey’s Twins Advice for New Parents George & Amal Clooney
Mariah Carey is headed back to Las Vegas and hitting the road with Lionel Richie. The superstar sat down with “Extra's” special correspondent, British TV and radio star Mark Wright, to chat about her busy schedule, dish on her relationship with ex Nick Cannon, and share advice for new parents of twins, George and Amal Clooney.

Since Mariah's twins, Moroccan and Monroe, are now 6 years old, she feels she is an expert when it comes to giving new parents George and Amal Clooney advice on raising twins! She commented, “It's… twins are definitely hard work. I'm very lucky to have people to help me because to handle two kids by yourself the same age is not easy.”
Being a working parent isn't easy either, Mariah said, “They have to understand sometimes when I go to work, they're like, 'I don't want you to go to work! Stay home! Don't go to work!' and then I feel guilt-ridden, but it's all right. They get used to it, and then when we spend time together it's more special.
The 47-year-old is busy juggling her career, love life with on-again, off-again boyfriend Bryan Tanaka, and motherhood, pointing out that her twins love going to Vegas with her. “They love it in Vegas. They're always asking about it.” Mariah also has a special relationship with her twins' father, ex-husband Nick Cannon, revealing that the family will “most likely" be all together this weekend for Father's Day.
Carey's upcoming shows in Las Vegas will mark the end of her residency, but she is still giving fans a taste of all of her hits! “It starts from the beginning of my career, so I start with 'Vision of Love' — my first single — and I go all the way through the rest of the 18 number-ones.”
The singer is stoked about her return, saying, “It's really exciting. I'm looking forward to it. I love going there. The fans are great — they come from all over the world.”
Mariah will be on the Las Vegas stage, but her fans will not see her back on the re-boot of “American Idol.” While polling the room to see what everyone thought about the idea, Mariah said, “What does this half of the room think of that? You know, you guys, there's a whole bunch of people in the room that everybody else can't see... I don't know, they're, like, some of them are raising their hands, yes, some of them are saying like, 'No'... I'm not sure it's for me... but I hope they have a great time."
Mariah will also be hitting 22 cities with Lionel Richie on their All the Hits tour. “I'm not sure what we are doing with singing together,” she said. "My set is 60 minutes.”
