Melissa McCarthy as Sean Spicer Goes in for the Kiss... of Death!
Melissa McCarthy hosted "SNL" for the fifth time Saturday, bringing her wicked Sean Spicer impersonation along for laughs.
After several quick-changes, including multiple pies in the face for one sketch, McCarthy emerged as the spitting image of the beleaguered White House press secretary, mocking the story that he hid in the bushes rather than face the press following President Trump's surprise firing of FBI Director James Comey.
During the sketch, McCarthy's Spicer was as combative as ever with the media, took a ride down the streets of NYC on his infamous lectern, and wound up making out with Alec Baldwin's Trump.
All in a day's work!
Watch:
At show's end, McCarthy was surprised by legendary comedian and actor Steve Martin, who joined Baldwin in presenting her with the traditional Five-Timers Club jacket received by everyone who survives hosting "Saturday Night Live" five times.
