Many are still reeling from “Happy Days” star Erin Moran's sudden death last week.
On Tuesday, Erin's husband Steven Fleischmann wrote a touching open letter about her battle with cancer… and now her friends are coming forward with pictures of her during the last months of her life.
Erin's friend Steven Wishnoff took one of the very last photos of her, at a charity event in October, just a month before she discovered the blood stain on her pillowcase that led to her cancer diagnosis.
Wishnoff told In Touch, "She was as generous as she was kind and funny.”
RadarOnline.com also published some of Moran's last pictures. See them here.
Another pal, Paul Petersen added, "Erin had her troubles, but [upon being diagnosed with cancer] she was pretty strong… a happy and upbeat person with a good heart.”
Petersen revealed her battle with cancer to friends late last year, saying, "Erin was in treatment, but the news was never good. She was coping as best she could.”
Along with her friends, her neighbors also remembered her in a positive light. Nicky Ford shared, "She was very joyful. She always put a smile on our faces.”
After her death, Moran's brother Tony called out her former co-star Scott Baio, who stirred some controversy with comments about her drug use. During an radio interview on Monday, Scott said, “For me, you do drugs or drink, you're gonna die.” At the time, he was unaware Moran had actually died of cancer.
In a now-deleted post on Facebook, Tony wrote, “Scott, I'd advise you to get on your knees and pray you never run into me.” He also made a slam on Scott's “man region,” saying, “She told me that you were tiny.”
