Hoda Kotb Adopts Baby Girl — See a Cute Pic!

Kotb adopted a baby girl named Haley Joy, who was born on Valentine's Day. The 52-year-old gushed, "She is the love of my life.”
After Kotb phoned in to announce the news on the show, her co-anchor Kathie Lee Gifford joked, "I've got the biggest mouth in the world and I've said zilch. Hoda, we are thrilled for you, sweetheart. You were made to be a mom.”
Matt Lauer chimed in, "This is such fantastic news. This little girl, Haley, is the luckiest girl on the planet. You are going to be one of the most fantastic moms I can ever imagine.”
Carson Daly, who said Hoda would be “incredible,” added, "You thought you drank a lot of wine before? You just wait.”
As for how Hoda came up with her bundle of joy's name, she revealed that she was inspired by Halley's comet, saying, "It was one of those things. I just picture her sailing through the sky.” Of Haley's middle name, Kotb said, "She brings us joy. She's got a beautiful way about her.”
Kotb's partner is Joel Schiffman.
