Ouch! Ronda Rousey Defeated by Amanda Nunes in 48-Second Bout
Even after showing off a jaw-dropping body transformation ahead of her highly touted match against Brazilian Amanda Nunes, Ronda Rousey went down after just 48 seconds in the ring with Nunes.
Nunes aka the Lioness barely broke a sweat in defending her women's bantamweight championship belt at Friday night's UFC 207 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, and she wasted no time in dragging Rousey on social media for the embarrassing loss.
People magazine reports that Nunes shared a Photoshopped image on Twitter showing herself pushing Rousey in a baby carriage.
"I'm the champion, Amanda Nunes," she told Joe Rogan immediately after her win, seemingly channeling the late Muhammad Ali's self-confidence. "I stop everybody like that. When I asked for this fight, I prepared my mind, my spirit, my body for this moment. Nobody is going to take this belt away from me."
The trash talk continued as Nunes, the first-ever out gay UFC champ, crowed that Rousey will now "retire and do movies. She's already got a lot of money. Forget about f*ckin' Ronda Rousey. I'm the real champion!"
