Charlie didn't seem too fond of seeing the redhead and her “Teen Wolf” ex together, nor did he appreciate the fan tweets questioning their relationship. He laid out all of his feelings on Twitter Thursday morning, writing, "I can't believe what I'm reading” and adding, "No one should have their heart messed with like this, and I'm not going to be in the middle of it.”
He even offered his sympathies to Tyler Posey. "I don't know Tyler personally, but I know he shouldn't be treated this way.” Seemingly feeling duped, Charlie continued, "She told me she was not with him anymore. This is all news to me.” He concluded by writing, "I want nothing but peace for all, I'm just removing myself from this.”

Thursday morning, after Puth unleashed his series of tweets, Bella settled the rumors on her end by tweeting, "Ty and I have been broken up for like over two weeks and charlie and I ARENT DATING we are friends. That article was written forever ago."

Not more than a couple hours after Charlie's tweets did Keke Palmer give her input on the situation, tweeting, "Why couldn't you have just texted @bellathorne in private if you were confused? The interview is dated. So sorry Bella, ignore 😘" Bella retweeted the tweet as Keke added, "C'mon, let's have each other's backs. 🙏"
Also Thursday, Paper magazine published an interview they did with the “Famous in Love” actress, in which she said, "For instance, dating Tyler [Posey], when we first started dating, paparazzi got a photo of us kissing outside and it sucked that people got that photo because we really didn't want it out at that time. We were obviously dating and hanging out, but it just wasn't necessary to put that in front of everyone's face, you know? That one sucked.”
