How Bruno Mars Will Participate in the Super Bowl This Year
Bruno Mars has been tapped as a headliner for the “Super Week” event at Club Nomadic, beginning February 3. The seven-time Grammy winner will headline the Friday show, kicking off the three-night concert series prior to the 2017 Super Bowl in Houston, Texas.
The singer rocked the halftime show of the 2016 Super Bowl game, and demand will likely be high for his performance leading up to this year's game.
The announcement was made today during a groundbreaking ceremony for the 62,500-square foot, three-tiered nightclub. The one-of-a-kind entertainment complex will be built in the Sawyers Yard art district in Houston.
Nomadic Entertainment President Jack Murphy said, “Club Nomadic will undoubtedly be THE hottest place leading up to Sunday's game,” adding, “Together with our sponsors, we are raising the bar, assembling three unforgettable nights of entertainment from the music industry's most popular global artists.”
Previous iterations of Club Nomadic have featured performances by acts such as Dave Matthews Band, Pharrell Williams, and Red Hot Chili Peppers – with special appearances by Run DMC, T.I., DJ Khaled and Snoop Dogg.
Fans can purchase floor-level general admission tickets, which will be available starting December 3, at Ticketmaster.com.
