John Krasinski Cast as Jack Ryan in Amazon Series

“The Office” actor John Krasinski has just been cast as Jack Ryan in an Amazon series, produced by Graham Roland.
In this reboot, Krasinski's version of Jack Ryan will be a CIA analyst, who ends up on a field assignment after discovering a pattern in terrorist communication.
In a statement, Roy Price, head of Amazon Studios, said, “We're excited to add the Jack Ryan global franchise to our robust originals pipeline. Our customers will enjoy a compelling adaptation of the action-packed spy thriller book series, further raising the bar for the quality level of storytelling that has made Prime Video a leading destination for content.”
Some of the famous names to play Jack Ryan in the past include Alec Baldwin, Harrison Ford, Ben Affleck, and Chris Pine.
Amazon has not released a premiere date for the first season of the series, which will have 10 episodes.
