On Monday, “2 Broke Girls” star Beth Behrs took to Twitter to announce her engagement to longtime boyfriend and “Mad Men” actor Michael Gladis.
She tweeted, "I said yes!! 6 years down a lifetime to go! #love." She later added, "Thank you also to my beautiful friends and family! Can't wait to celebrate!"
Beth shared details of Michael's proposal, telling E! News, "He proposed on our friends Christina Hendricks and Geoffrey Arend's rooftop at sunset with a private jazz band playing my favorite Miles Davis/John Coltrane song overlooking Manhattan! It was magical. I was sobbing!”
After the proposal, the pair celebrated the engagement at NYC's Parkside Lounge with family and friends. Gladis tweeted, "She said 'yes'!! So happy. So relieved. So hung over!"
Once the engagement news broke, Beth's co-star Kat Dennings wrote on Instagram, "MY BABY'S GETTING MARRIED!!!!! Congratulations you two beautiful kids I can't wait to celebrate when you get home ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ #Beth&Michael #FORLYFE.”
