Prince’s Ex-Wife Manuela Is Healing in an ‘Intimately Painful Way’
Eric Benét was among the stars paying tribute to Prince at a public memorial in Los Angeles over the weekend.
Benét, who is married to Prince's ex-wife Manuela, called the artist a “genre unto himself” while opening up about how Manuela is doing.

“My wife is healing like all of us are, but she's doing it in a much deeper and intimately painful way,” he said. “She is healing.”
Troy Byer, who was once romantically linked to Prince, also spoke out about the star. She told “Extra's” Tracey Edmonds at the Single Mom's Planet's Single Mom's Awards in Los Angeles, “I think we will remember him for the rest of our lives and not just today… that's all I can say without crying.”
