Sharna Burgess’ ‘DWTS’ Blog: Last Night’s Most Memorable Moment and What’s In Store for Disney Week

Most Memorable Year is always an incredible and emotional night for all of the contestants of the season. I have to say, tonight was really wonderful to be a part of, getting to see everyone's stories. For me, especially getting to work with Antonio Brown and Antonio Jr. was beyond memorable.

Prepping for this dance all week and being able to see Antonio as a dad was remarkable. To see how he teaches his children, how he interacts with them, and the pure love he has for them was amazing to be a part of. It made me want to create a beautiful and emotional piece for them. My goal was to create something they could look back at together in 20 years and feel incredibly proud of this moment that will stand still forever. It will never, ever go away and it showed the pure love between a father and son.

I'll never forget being able to learn about Antonio as a young man and idolizing football and his relationship with his dad, and why he is so influenced to be a dad. Though he has a passion and love for football, it will always be second to his children because in his own words, “Family is what is forever."

Undoubtedly, we have felt the love from the Steelers Nation keeping us here every week. They have to be so proud of seeing one of their number-one players really grow so much this week. Antonio is someone that is a great role model for young men to look up to. He is an incredible athlete, an incredible man, incredible dad, and for me an incredible partner.

Next week is Disney Week, which is always one of my favorite weeks on “DWTS." We are actually going to do “Aladdin." We have "Friend Like Me," but it is a modern take on the song. It won't be the traditional Disney, and I cannot wait to start creating it. We are doing jazz, which most people know is one of my favorite styles to do on the show. I really think his personality is going to come out and shine!
