Caitlyn Jenner Ready to Date Men After Swearing Off Women?
Caitlyn Jenner opens up about her sexuality in the new trailer for the second season of her reality show “I Am Cait.”
In the trailer, Caitlyn's friend Chandi Moore asks if she is a lesbian. Jenner responds, "To be honest with you, I don't see myself dating women in the future. I've been there, done that. I've got three ex-wives.”
After hearing her answer, Jenner's friend Jennifer Boyland chimes in, "So now you can have an ex-husband!” Jenner, who looks a little uncomfortable, answers, “That's right!”
The trailer also features Caitlyn bowling and dancing with her friends.
Jenner told assembled Television Critics Association press on Thursday, “To be honest with you, for almost my entire life, I never really liked going out. I never really felt like I fit in anywhere. I was always kind of more of a loner. Now, after transitioning, I actually really enjoy going out. I have so many fun things to do, and all the girls [cast members on her show] have helped me out getting past the tough part… Now I am just really comfortable with myself to have a social life.”
Though Jenner is happy with her new life, she still reflected on her past, saying in the trailer, "Sometimes I feel I've thrown old Bruce out the door. Maybe he didn't deserve to be gone."
“I Am Cait” has brought more visibility to the transgender community, but Jenner doesn't feel like she is the face of the transgender movement. She explained to TCA members, “I am not a spokesman for this community. Everyone in the media kind of puts me at that because obviously, I'm in the media a lot. But I am only a spokesman for me and my story. I have so much to learn in this community, much to learn about trans issues, so much to learn about women's issues. I'm only nine months out.”
“I Am Cait" is set to return in March on E!
