Bindi Irwin Is Crowned 'Dancing with the Stars' Champion
Bindi Irwin is the new winner of "Dancing with the Stars"!
Irwin and dance partner Derek Hough earned two perfect scores for their dances during the finale: a quickstep and a freestyle dedicated to her late father, "Crocodile Hunter” Steve Irwin. She brought the room to tears while leaning on Hough's shoulder for emotional support after the tribute to her dad.
Earlier in the day, Bindi had honored her father on Instagram with an image that she identified as the "last photo ever taken of us as a family.” The caption also noted, "The day before I had to wave goodbye to my hero, without knowing it would be the last time. But Dad, I know you walk beside me always and your strength lives within me. I love you."

After the win, Irwin thanked all her supporters. "I am speechless. This is a gift and I can't tell you how much love I have for all of your support throughout this beautiful journey. My life has been changed."
It was the sixth time that Hough has won a mirror-ball trophy on the show.
