'Extra' Exclusive: Julia Roberts Talks Taylor Swift Backstage at Fashion Week
Julia Roberts made her first Fashion Week appearance in 15 years at Riccardo Tisci's Givenchy show, and only "Extra" special correspondent Adam Glassman, Creative Director of O, The Oprah Magazine, had a chance to chat exclusively with the superstar backstage.
Julia acknowledged her long absence from one of the fashion world's biggest spectacles. "I was waiting. It was worth the wait… it was worth the wait."

She was wearing a custom-made T-shirt with Tisci's face on it, calling it "a surprise for Riccardo."
"We have T-shirt joke going back and forth; this was my homage to him tonight," she said.
Julia, who was the the face of Givenchy last season, is a fan of Tisci's latest line and of his knack for presentation. "For him to mastermind the concept of coming to NYC on September 11 and bringing us all together in this outdoor, beautiful way of appreciating New York City and what it offers, and bringing the people in this neighborhood... it was amazing!"
Her favorite pieces were the layered items, jackets, and flowing things.
Julia also spoke about her recent surprise appearance on stage at Taylor Swift's "1989" tour. Confirming it wasn't planned in advance, Julia said, "I would have washed my hair. I was, like, wearing a ponytail and leggings, tennis shoes."
Taylor was "very sweet" with Julia's kids, 10-year-old twins Phinnaeus and Hazel, and eight-year-old Henry. "They had never been to a concert before and they were big fans and she said, 'Would you mind coming on stage during the song and dancing?' and I said to my children, 'What do you think?' 'Oh, Mom you have to do it!' and my youngest son said, 'Only do it if you want to, Mommy.' it was so sweet!"
Next up for Julia is a remake of the Argentinean thriller "The Secret In Their Eyes."
"Well, I loved the original movie... and I thought it was a beautiful, intense movie and I wanted to work with Chiwetel [Ejiofor] and Nicole [Kidman], who I've been friends with for a long time... I'll be wearing Givenchy to the premiere—I know that!"
