Exclusive! 'Extra' on the 'Deadpool' Set with Ryan Reynolds
Only “Extra” was invited to the top secret “Deadpool” set in Vancouver for an exclusive one-on-one with Ryan Reynolds.
Host Mario Lopez sat down with Ryan, following their huge viral April Fools' Day prank with the star last month, to find out more about Reynolds' car accident, “Deadpool,” and baby James.
In April, Ryan was the victim of a hit-and-run accident in a Vancouver parking garage. The driver, reportedly a paparazzo, fled the scene.
Where does the case stand? “It's one of those things where you get to just sit back and let due process do its thing, and you don't really have to get involved,” Ryan said.
When it comes to “Deadpool,” Reynolds is giving fans all the credit for making it happen. “They're the reason we're here. They're reason this movie got made! They made their voice loud and they made it clear. The studio just right away said, 'Let's go,' here's your release date, you're off and running.”
The 38-year-old also dished on his 5-month-old daughter James with wife Blake Lively, saying, “The baby's great… growing like a weed.” She's also sleeping better these days. “The sleeping's getting normal now… baby's making it through the night. Yeah, we are pretty good about the sleep training stuff.”
“Deadpool” will open in theaters in February 2016.
