Stephen Collins and Faye Grant Avoid Trial, Reach Divorce Settlement
It looks like Stephen Collins and Faye Grant won't be headed to divorce court after all.
The former couple reached a settlement this week, avoiding a very public trial, reports TMZ.
Collins and Grant agreed to split their assets, estimated at around $14 million. Their Brentwood homes will be sold off, and neither will have to pay spousal support.
The audiotape of Collins' allegedly confessing to molesting young girls was also brought up in the settlement.
Grant must turn over the original copy to Collins' lawyer, so that it can be placed under lock and key for the next 10 years in case of a subpoena. All other copies must be destroyed.
