Mama June Spotted Out as Daughter Anna Claims She Was Victim of Sex Offender
“Here Comes Honey Boo Boo” star Mama June Shannon made her first appearance since the story broke that she's dating convicted child molester Mark McDaniel, just as oldest daughter Anna Marie Cardwell reportedly came forward to say she was a victim of the registered sex offender when she was 8 years old.
The “Boo Boo” matriarch was seen outside her Georgia home, with youngest daughter, Alana Thompson. See the pics and read more at MailOnline.com.
Mama June has denied reports she's seeing McDaniel in a series of Facebook confessionals, but daughter Anna, now 20, gave permission to Radar Online to reveal the shocking news that McDaniel molested her in 2003 when he was dating Mama June.
Anna told Radar she now believes her mother is “seeing him and hanging around him” again, adding, “I'm hurt… I think me and Mama's relationship may well be over.”
Cardwell even wrote on her own Facebook page that she is telling the truth, and on Friday, wrote, "Can everyone just leave me alone for a few. Thank y'all for your concerns."
According to court records, McDaniel was indicted in June 2003 for “aggravated child molestation and aggravated sexual battery on his young victim,” but the case was dismissed some time later.
A year later he was sent to prison for 10 years of aggravated child molestation charges in a different case in Spalding County. He was released in March.
On Friday, TLC cancelled the reality show, stating, “TLC has cancelled the series 'Here Comes Honey Boo Boo' and ended all activities around the series, effective immediately. Supporting the health and welfare of these remarkable children is our only priority. TLC is faithfully committed to the children's ongoing comfort and well-being.”
