Gov. Chris Christie’s Call to Action Against Addiction Stigma
New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, along with Pastor Carter of Newark's New Hope Baptist Church, hosted a #BeAFace summit on Tuesday, addressing the stigma surrounding addiction and recovery.
The summit, called “The Many Faces of Addiction: Ending the Stigma,” brought together organizations, advocacy groups, medical professionals, and families and individuals in recovery from across New Jersey and New York.
