Val Chmerkovskiy on Maksim's GF Kate Upton: 'I Approve'
“Extra’s” Renee Bargh caught up with “Dancing with the Stars” pro Valentin Chmerkovskiy after Monday night’s performances, and Val opened up about his brother Maksim’s hot new romance with Kate Upton.
Maksim, 33, and the Sports Illustrated cover girl, 21, went public with their relationship on September 26th, stepping out and holding hands in New York City.
When Renee asked Val what he thought of Maksim’s new girlfriend, he said, “I approve. Listen, good for him. You know, he’s doing his thing. I’m very happy for him. I hope they could find a certain privacy to enjoy themselves. But overall, I’m happy for them. Regardless, she’s an awesome person and an awesome girl. Listen, I wish them all the best.”
