‘DWTS’ Contestant Brant Daugherty Was Robbed at Gunpoint
“Dancing with the Stars” contestant Brant Daugherty had a rough week.
First, the "Pretty Little Liars" star sprained his foot and had to wear a boot during rehearsals, and then, after last week's episode, Daugherty was robbed at gunpoint. The thief took his bag, which had Brant’s dancing shoes in it.
Backstage, the actor talked to “Extra’s” Renee Bargh about the “terrifying” incident.
He explained, “A guy outside my apartment building last week after the show, actually came up behind me with a gun, and demanded I give him my bag. And then he said, ‘I'm not kidding. I'll cock the gun and shoot you. I'll do it.’ I had some actual valuables in my other bag, and as soon as he looked down to take the bag, I bolted.”
Despite everything, Brant and partner Peta Murgatroyd were the top scorers on Monday, performing a stellar quickstep. Watch!
