Pics! Robert Pattinson Gets Crafty with Kids at Children’s Hospital

Robert Pattinson made some teens at Los Angeles' Children's Hospital very happy when he stopped by for a surprise visit earlier this month. Check out the pics!

The “Twilight” star joined the kids for an arts and crafts session decorating picture frames.

“Robert was so nervous about meeting the kids—he didn't want to let them down—which is a testament to how humble he is. He was incredibly gracious and kind. He will probably never fully understand what a huge lift he gave to these kids today, and how it will positively impact them over the long term,” shared Ana Vega, a specialist who works closely with the children and their families.

Lyndsay Hutchison, senior public information officer at Children's added, “We couldn't help laughing and smiling when one of the patients was so starstruck she that couldn't speak. You could tell it meant the world to her—she was tearing up and smiling ear to ear as we were leaving. The other little girl teased him relentlessly and begged him to do an American accent. They were instant friends.”

By the end, RPatz was laughing at his pink picture frame, sketched with hearts, and trying to convince the room of his “terrible” art skills.
