Jessica Simpson Gives Birth to a Baby Boy!
"Fashion Star" mentor Jessica Simpson and fiancé Eric Johnson have welcomed their second child, a baby boy named Ace Knute Johnson.
Simpson's rep told UsWeekly the baby was born in Los Angeles via a scheduled C-section on Sunday. "Ace Knute (pronounced Ka-nute) Johnson has arrived! Mom and baby are doing great. Jessica, Eric and Maxwell are thrilled to welcome the new addition to their family."
Ace's middle name honors Eric's Swedish paternal grandfather, Knute Johnson, says Us.
The fashion mogul, 32, and Johnson, 33, are already parents to daughter Maxwell, nearly 14 months.
Engaged since 2010, Jessica and Eric have postponed their nuptials as their family expands. A source told Us that Jessica "was telling friends she wanted to get married a few months after the baby is born. Jessica said, 'Let's have this wedding already before I get pregnant with another one!'"
