New Trailer! Matt Damon Gets Ripped and Tatted for 'Elysium'
Matt Damon is ripped, tatted and taking “Elysium” by storm in the new trailer for director Neill Blomkamp’s sci-fi thriller.
Blomkamp, who also helmed the Oscar-nominated “District 9,” is once again juxtaposing social issues like health care, immigration and class against a futuristic backdrop.
In the new flick, Max (Damon) tries to help his fellow humans on Earth by traveling to what appears to be a utopian space station called Elysium… after he undergoes a painful surgery that turns him into a tricked-out killing machine.
“Elysium” lands in theaters on Aug. 9.
