Prince William Gets Ready to Be a Doting Dad
Prince William is going to take a step back from his somewhat dangerous work to concentrate on his royal family-in-the-making.
A source close to the Prince told People.com that he will soon announce he's leaving the Royal Air Force Valley -- a search-and-rescue helicopter unit based in Anglesey, Wales.
The job required him to be away for as many as ten 24-hour shifts each month. Wife Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, is expecting their first child in July. Although William has said he loves working with the RAF, the long hours are no longer feasible.
"He's ready for the next step," said the source.
