Angus T. Jones vs. 'Two and a Half Men': New Details
The fallout from Angus T. Jones' negative comments on Monday about his hit show, “Two and a Half Men,” continued to reverberate today in the media.
In a YouTube video posted by the Forerunner Chronicles church, the teenage actor, called the CBS comedy "filth" and said he “didn't want to be on it.” He then asked for people to stop watching it.
His mother, Carey Jones, told MailOnline she was worried for her famous son. “I'm concerned he's being exploited by the church,” she explained, but refused to comment further.
Even Howard Stern chastised Jones on his Sirius XM radio show on Tuesday, saying, “This kid doesn't understand. He probably got in at 10 years old, and he doesn't know what it is to be an actor and make $8.5 million dollars.”
Jones has played Jake Harper on the show for nearly 10 years and now earns approximately $350,000 an episode.
The young actor is not expected to appear in the last two mid-season episodes of “Two and a Half Men,” which were written long before the 19-year-old's recent statements.
