Kevin Connolly on Anthony Weiner Doing an 'Entourage' Cameo
"Extra" caught up with "Entourage" star Kevin Connolly at the 2011 Critics' Choice Television Awards and asked him about a rumor that former Congressman Anthony Weiner is going to do a guest appearance on the show.
"That is 100% complete fabrication of somebody's imagination," said the actor. "That was never discussed... that was never anything, never ever for one second."
Charlie Sheen, on the other hand, WAS a consideration. "The Charlie Sheen thing was kicked around," explained Connolly. "Should we? Could we? What could we do? But the Weiner thing, just 100% made-up. I'm surprised somebody has not stood up and said, 'What are you guys talking about?'"
Besides, Connolly added, "We have three days left of shooting... where we gonna put Weiner?"
The eighth and final season of "Entourage" premieres Sunday, July 24 on HBO.
