The Bachelorette Recap: Ashley's Romantic Trip to Phuket
On Monday's episode of "The Bachelorette," Ashley and her suitors traveled to Phuket for some adventure and love.
Ashley took to her blog, featured on People, and wrote, "I look back at the beginning of this week in Phuket, and remember how I was still thinking about his [Bentley's] departure. However, at the end of this week, I found myself being able to see the difference between real, genuine relationships and the one I had with Bentley."
Host Chris Harrison informed the men there would be two one-on-one dates and one group date.
On her first date, Hebert and Constantine went on a shopping excursion together since their original plan to visit a private beach had been rained out. The two spent time talking about relationships and after their date, Constantine earned a rose.
The bachelorette's second solo date with Ames began with a romantic boat ride. The couple talked about past relationships and what they looked for in a mate, and really seemed to connect. Ashley gave a second rose to Ames.
On the group date, they ventured off to an orphanage for children who lost their families in the 2004 tsunami. Hebert took to her blog and revealed, "At this point, I started to see the guys in a completely different light, especially Ben F. He took it upon himself to paint a mural for the children and was a standout guy in terms of interacting with the children. It really melted my heart, and I feel like this helped solidify my feelings for him."
The guys enjoyed spending time with the children and Ashley and Ben shared a kiss.
During the rose ceremony, West was sent home. His elimination may have come as a result of his inability to move forward after his wife's death.
Next week, "The Bachelorette" will travel to Chiang Mai for more drama, ambulances, dates ending prematurely... and the return of Bentley!
