The 'Idol' Final Two: 'A Big Country Finale!'
"American Idol" chose its final two contestants; country singers Scott McCreery and Lauren Alaina -- in a recording-breaking evening with over 95 million votes! "Extra" caught up with them backstage to get their reactions.
"This hasn't sunk in from the beginning," a humbled McCreery, 17, told "Extra" after the show. "That I even made it at all or made it this far!"
Alaina, 16, said she'd like to do cartwheels and thinks the last show will be a "big country finale!"
The two singers, the youngest finalists "Idol" has ever seen, credit their faith for helping them. "We pray a lot together," said Alaina. "Every time I pass by him, I yell, 'Scotty, pray for me!'" McCreery added, "It's our thing."
