Angelina Jolie Not Adopting Haitian Child
Actress and mother-of-six action star Angelina Jolie is shooting down rumors that say she's planning to adopt a 4-year-old girl from Haiti named Leah.
Not wanting adoption gossip to interfere with her humanitarian work in the earthquake-ravaged country, Jolie decided to set the record straight by issuing a statement to The Daily Beast through her rep, Adam Waldman, saying, "There is no truth to these rumors. Ms. Jolie is focused on enhancing the welfare and legal protection of children within Haiti."
Waldman adds that Angie never met the Haitian child who is the subject of the rumor.
