Justin Timberlake Talks about Boo-Boo and Boo Boo
"Yogi Bear" actors Justin Timberlake and Dan Aykroyd talked about their feature adaptation of the beloved cartoon -- and how Timberlake got his own "boo-boo" on the set of his next movie.
The singer voices the lovable sidekick Boo-Boo to Aykroyd's Yogi in the live-action film. "I'm telling you they are just universally beloved characters," Aykroyd told "Extra's" Terri Seymour, with Timberlake adding, "I'm mostly excited that I have friends with children. I haven't really done a movie where I can relate to their kids. Plus, my facial hair frightens them, and my music is a little too explicit."
Timberlake and Aykroyd also joked about the singer's recent ankle injury on the set of his thriller, "Now." Timberlake explained, "It's an action movie, so these things happen. It could be better, but it could be a lot worse, so I'm thankful it's not worse."
There is one thing wowing Timberlake at the moment: that "The Social Network" picked up four awards from the National Board of Review, including Best Picture, kicking off the awards season accolades.
Responding to the film's Oscar chances, Timberlake said, "You know, I don't really know what to say about any of it because it seems unfathomable on any level."
