CMA Roundup: LeAnn is NOT Engaged! Plus, Gwyneth a Hit
It was a star-studded evening in Nashville as "Extra" talked with some of country music's biggest stars, including LeAnn Rimes, who put to rest those pesky engagement rumors.
"I can't wait to share that news one day... but no, not engaged," Rimes confirmed to "Extra" about the reports she and beau Eddie Cibrian were headed down the aisle.
The singer was excited about seeing Gywneth Paltrow perform. "There's a real fine line between country, pop, film, music... I think it's exciting!" chirped LeAnn.
Country band Rascall Flats said, "It's a whole new world for Gwyneth tonight, and our fingers are crossed for her," while Martina McBride added, "She can make it look easy, a great actress."
Nicole Kidman admired Paltrow's chutzpah but could never do it herself. "I could never do a country album but I love listening to them."
Miranda Lambert and Brad Paisley were the big winners of the evening, picking up awards for Best Album and Entertainer of the Year, respectively. For a complete list of CMA winners, click here.
