Who is the Highest-Paid Actress?
That would be Sandra Bullock. The Oscar-winning actress hit it big last year with her romantic comedy "The Proposal" and runaway hit drama "The Blind Side," according to a survey by Forbes.com.
While "The Proposal" grossed $320 million as of early July of 2009, it was Bullock's surprising $310-million hit "The Blind Side" that put her at the top of the list. She pared down her usual fee for the indie drama and took points on the back end, which combined with "Proposal" earned her approximately $56 million!
Reese Witherspoon was at No. 2, garnering $32 million over the past year, thanks to getting paid up front for two upcoming movies, James L. Brooks' "How Do You Know?" and the film adaptation of "Water for Elephants."
Forbes compiled their findings by factoring in not only the money made from movies, but also what the actresses earned from perfume, clothing lines and ad campaigns.
Other actresses among the top 10 earners include Cameron Diaz, Julia Roberts, Meryl Streep, Angelina Jolie and, wait for it, Kristen Stewart!
