Eric Roberts Says 'Celebrity Rehab' Helped
Actor Eric Roberts admitted he was a "pothead," but Dr. Drew Pinsky and "Celebrity Rehab" helped curb his enthusiasm for weed.
"Extra's" Jerry Penacoli talked with Roberts Tuesday night at the NY premiere of "The Expendables," where Roberts said he went into the reality show for Dr. Drew, and "stayed for the experience."
"I was there for pot. I've been a pothead all my life," the tough-guy actor confessed. "This is my first red carpet, not stoned, in my adult life!"
As for making "The Expendables" with writer/director/star Sylvester Stallone, Roberts described it as "camp" with some of the toughest dudes in the business. "And I was the bad guy," he laughed.
Stallone was there, too, with his beautiful family and said he'd love to have Sandra Bullock star in an "Expendables" sequel. "Oh, 100%. Are you kidding? She's tougher than all of us, to tell ya the truth!
"The Expendables" opens in theaters Aug. 13.
