Congrats to Newlyweds Chelsea and Marc!
Former first daughter Chelsea Clinton has tied the knot with her beau Marc Mezvinsky.
Surrounded by 400 friends and her beaming parents, Bill and Hillary, Clinton, 30, and Mezvinsky 32, said their "I dos" in Rhinebeck, N.Y., Saturday. The bride wore a dress designed by Vera Wang, while the mother of the bride wore Oscar de la Renta, People.com reports.
Shortly after the ceremony, Chelsea's proud parents released a statement. "Today, we watched with great pride and overwhelming emotion as Chelsea and Marc wed in a beautiful ceremony at Astor Courts, surrounded by family and their close friends. We could not have asked for a more perfect day to celebrate the beginning of their life together, and we are so happy to welcome Marc into our family. On behalf of the newlyweds, we want to give special thanks to the people of Rhinebeck for welcoming us and to everyone for their well-wishes on this special day."
The guest list was somewhat low key, with family friends actors Mary Steenburgen and Ted Danson, former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright, film producer Steven Bing, and designer Wang in attendance.
