Martin Lawrence Gets Hitched
Funnyman Martin Lawrence wed his longtime girlfriend Shamicka Gibbs this weekend in a private ceremony at the actor's Beverly Hills home.
Lawrence, 45, and Gibbs, 35, exchanged vows in the backyard in front of 120 guests, including Eddie Murphy and Denzel Washington. Their daughters, Amara, 7 and Iyanna, 9, and Lawrence's daughter from a previous marriage, Jasmin, 14, were flower girls, People.com reports.
The newlyweds then joined their guests under a tent for a reception, designed by Diann Valentine, who arranged two long tables in the shape of an "X" so all guests to sit together.
Lawrence was last seen in this year's comedy "Death at a Funeral" and recently wrapped "Big Mommas: Like Father, Like Son."
