Crystal Not Shattered by Split with BF
It's a long way from Toledo, Ohio for "Idol" first runner-up Crystal Bowersox, who likely has a big career ahead of her, but she won't be in the company of her boyfriend, "Big Tony," who split the morning of the finale, as reported on RyanSeacrest.com.
"Big Tony... he went home. He wasn't cool with the lifestyle," revealed the dreadlocked single mother. "I didn't break up with him... it was a mutual thing."
Bowersox was stoic about the split, adding, "It's cool though, we're both logical, grown adults. He's a small town guy and that's fine, I'm a small town girl, but I want this. I want this more than anything, this career, this lifestyle. I didn't think he was up for it... he didn't think he was up for it."
Already a pro, the end of her relationship didn't faze her on show day. "I was a little sad that he did it on performance day, but then again, it set that fire to my belly."
And so another romance bites the dust as another star begins to rise... sounds like a song in the making.
Bowersox will be on tour this summer with the rest of the Idols.
