George Lopez and Conan: 'A Powerful Combination'
Talk show host George Lopez is pretty jazzed about sharing his late-night shenanigans with Conan O'Brien on TBS.
"Conan at 11:00 and me at midnight is a powerful combination," Lopez told "Extra's" Terri Seymour when she stopped by "George Lopez Tonight" set to chat. "I told him this is a place to create. They leave you alone. You can do the show the way you want to."
Then Lopez laughed. "Listen, a Latino and a redhead already existed on TV with 'I Love Lucy' and it's going to happen again!"
As for his close friend Sandra Bullock, Lopez says he's been visiting her and giving her lots of support. "She's a strong woman. She's always been there for me, guiding me, so I will be there for her, absolutely."
Asked if he's spoken with Bullock's estranged husband Jesse James, Lopez deadpanned, "My wife told me I can't talk to him anymore."
Lopez did, however, run into Tiger Woods recently at the Masters. "I just ran into him at the clubhouse in Augusta, and I thought I was gonna get clubbed like a baby seal," the funnyman quipped. "But I did not."
