Ray Romano and Friends in 'Comedy for a Cure'
Comedian Ray Romano is lending his comic sensibilities to the 9th Annual Comedy for a Cure event in Hollywood this Sunday, April 11, hosted by Romano's "Everybody Loves Raymond" co-star, Patricia Heaton.
Comedy for a Cure has raised more than $1.5 million for research and programs/services for the Tuberous Sclerosis Alliance and families affected by TSC. Tuberous sclerosis complex (TSC) is a genetic disorder that causes potentially fatal tumors to form on children's vital organs. TSC affects one in 6,000 children and is the leading genetic cause of epilepsy and autism.
Other celebrity attendees include Larry Miller, Buzz Aldrin, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Vincent Gallo, Melina Kanakaredes, Tim Daly, Leeza Gibbons and many others. Stand-up comics Jeff Allen and Mike Polk will also perform.
