Simon Cowell Secures Acts for Haiti Charity Single
"American Idol" judge Simon Cowell confirmed to reporters Wednesday night at the National Television Awards in London that he's in the process of securing acts for a charity single, the proceeds of which will aid the victims of last Tuesday's earthquake in Haiti.
Cowell has not yet confirmed who will participate on the track, but The Sun speculated that he would likely secure "X Factor" sensations Leona Lewis and Susan Boyle, with Beyoncé and Lady Gaga also mentioned as possibilities.
Other celebs jumping on the charity music bandwagon include Quincy Jones and Lionel Richie, said to be working on a remake of "We Are the World," with all proceeds to go toward Haiti relief.
