Tyler Perry Returns to Spotlight with New Play
Tyler Perry is coming to a town near you!
The actor/producer/director announced the details of his new play on his website.
"'Madea's Big Happy Family' is my new play. Trust me when I tell you, I need to laugh and make you laugh even harder. All I want to say is that if you have not seen 'Madea' live on stage you haven't seen Madea at all," Perry writes.

In Oct, Perry, 40, decided he would take off the rest the year to be with his ailing mother. Perry's mother passed away in December. and he thanked fans for their condolences.
"My mother was the apple of my eye, so this has been difficult to say the least," he expressed. "I'll say more about her as I am able. It's just too soon to talk publicly about it."
